WORDS OF WISDOM TO AN ASPIRING WRITER
1. Take as many classes as you can on the Subject of writing. Most states have writers Conferences and local libraries critique groups. If you truly want it to be Christ-centered then Check out Faithwriters.com for a listing of Critique groups in your area.
2. Start out writing articles. For instance, try writing An article for your church newsletter. Write a community Piece for your local town paper. If you like pets find a Local pet newsletter. All these tiny steps add up to experience.
3. Allow yourself to be corrected by a seasoned writer as Long as it is done in love.
4. Don't everyone will give you constructive criticism, so When someone criticizes your work, thank them then Pray about it. If it came from God, He will reveal that to you.
5. Don't take yourself too seriously. Enjoy the journey. You will never know how many people you bless just By being willing to be yourself. When you are discouraged and want to give up, just ask Him to hold onto you until you can get back on your writing feet. Lastly, do all for the Glory of God.
